Nightmares

Nightmare angel is above my head
Every night I lay in my bed.
I am scared to close my eyes...
In every dream my spirit dies.

Nightmares - imminent as death!
They are calling me!
Mornings hurt like first breath!
They are killing me!

Nightmare angel does not tolerate
Every night I stay up too late.
I'm so afraid to close my eyes...

Nightmares – like a hanging rope!
They are calling me!
Evenings - filled with little hope!
They are killing me...

Nightmare angel is ready for my soul.
The time has come to play my role...
I pray to Lord my soul to take
And not to burn in fiery lake...
